    President Kennedy's Mission Shortened

President Kennedy's Mission, the original comic book series currently being produced by Hermes Press, is being dramatically shortened. When Hermes introduced the new story in March 2017, it was announced as an "all-new Phantastic adventure [written by] veteran Phantom script writer Ron Goulart [together with] with artist Sean Joyce", and specifically, a "five book story arc". Unfortunately, these plans have changed - there will now only be three books in the story. This week,

President Kennedy's Mission Finally Hits Shelves

In the last week, the highly anticipated second original series from Hermes Press The Phantom: President Kennedy's Mission has finally become available via their website, other internet sellers, and has even arrived physically in comic book stores around the world. Each of the three distinctly different variant covers available (#1 by Scott Brooks, #1A and #1B by Sean Joyce) are beautifully rendered, and most collectors will be keen to pick up one of each. The 20-page comic i

    Where is JFK?

It's been over two months since we first reported the 30th June 2017 release date for Hermes Press' new comic book series The Phantom: President Kennedy's Mission. Unfortunately that date has come and gone with no sign of the books, so the question must be asked: where is JFK? The short answer is - it's been delayed. Why? The San Diego Comic Con (July 20-23) is to blame! For the latest update, the ChronicleChamber team has gone straight to the source, Managing Director Sabrin

More Hints from Hermes about their new Phantom Mini Series

In an article by Comic Mix they talk about the legacy of the Phantom to survive over 80 years in today’s world and correctly give the Phantom its true historical nod as the first superhero. They also talk about Hermes' up-coming new comic book series. Publisher Dan Hermes talks about their exciting Avon release but maybe more importantly he gives us some hints about the new series including confirming that Ron Goulart is the writer but also the story arc featuring John F Kenn

Hermes Press to Reprint Avon Novels

In the 1970’s several of Lee Falk’s Phantom stories were re-worked as short novels. Released originally by Avon Publications in the US, the series of 15 novels retold some of Falk’s most famous stories. Of the novels five were written by Falk himself with other writers filling in the other ten. Of these, Ron Goulart, using the pseudonym of Frank S. Shawn, wrote six. Recently, on the Hermes Press YouTube channel, publisher Dan Hermes has announced that his company will be repr
