As we mentioned in our X-Band: The Phantom Podcast #211, due to the festive season, COVID, family sickness and work, we have fallen behind in our comics and news monthly podcasts. It could be argued that a sign that the Phantom is becoming more popular is the fact that X-Band: The Phantom Podcast is no longer the only Phantom podcast out there. On top of X-Band and Bradleigh's PhantomCave podcasts, there is now a third podcast that will release their first podcast on 15th February 2022. The team consists of Maria Lewis, Elise Cooper from Nova Podcasts and it must be said, they are a professional bunch with their pods recorded in a studio, using cool sound effects and not spread out across Australia and in cars while not keeping the family awake like us :) You can listen to them via your favourite podcast player like Spotify, iTunes and of course Nova Brisbane's website. Here is a wrap up of the weekend which included a wrap up of their visit to Frew Publications, Supanova Sydney, the LFMBEC dinner and various phan catch ups. Saturday lunch at a restaurant near the convention. We will be meeting at Matt Kyme's booth at 1pm and then heading to the restaurant after. LFMBEC Dinner The LFMBEC Dinner is an all time phan phavourite. This is the highlight for many a phan of the weekend. The dinner draws phans from around the four corner of Australia and the world including Europe, USA, New Zealand and Japan. This event is NOT open for all. It is by invite only.
