Reviewing the new Indian Phantom Comic from Regal Publishers
On the back of Mythos from Brazil committing to publish the Phantom in 2019, another publisher called Regal Publishers from India has also started the year off with a positive start. Not only have they published the first licensed Indian Phantom comic for many years, they have also published comics from Lee Falk's other character Mandrake at the same time with more promised to come regularly. Clothing Line Released in India by Jack & Jones
It's a little embarrassing that the news has come through so very very late, but it would seem that way back in 2016, the Indian branch of the international chain store Jack & Jones offered several King Features Syndicate licensed The Phantom shirts! Norwegian Phans React to the Cancellation of their Fantomet

Kid Mandrake Announced
Kid Phantom recently shared a big announcement on their Facebook Page: a new title Kid Mandrake is coming soon! This is the first new publication featuring Mandrake the Magician in many, many years, and comes from Frew Publications on the back of their successful Kid Phantom comic book series. New Phantom Hardcover Comics in Spain
Last week some eagle eyed phans may have seen news that Dolmen Publishing over in Spain will be picking up a Phantom License and republishing some classic Phantom stories. UPDATED: Dynamite & Hermes Announce New Comics
Dynamite Entertainment and Hermes Press have both announced new Phantom comics which will be on sale in November and October of this year, respectively. Dynamite has announced the follow up to their second Kings Quest crossover, however, this time it will be appearing in a new issue #1 for Flash Gordon, rather than a stand alone series. Darwyn Cooke Passes
The comics world has lost another of its heroes with the passing of writer/ artist Darwyn Cooke. At only 53 he lost his battle with cancer. While Cooke’s encounter with the Ghost Who Walks was only brief, his impact on the comics medium can not be denied. Classic Phantom and Mandrake Archived
ComicShelf.com has reported that the Internet Archive has made available early Phantom and Mandrake strips, as well as the un-aired Mandrake and Phantom TV-pilots from the 1960s. The Mandrake content features 90 pages of strips as well as the stories The Cobra and The Weird Bank Robberies. The Phantom content is much more extensive, including issues from Gold Key and Harvey Hits. You can see a full list of available content, as well as download it, from The Internet Archive.
