To coincide with the Australian Phantom phan catch-up, Sydney Supanova and the Phantom's 90th birthday Frew are releasing a special comic released in shops 25th June 2026.

The regular cover available at newsagents and some comic shops will be drawn by Ben Bradi and the variant cover on sale at Sydney and Perth Supanova will be a cover drawn by Supanova guest Ken Steacy. The variant cover will be on sale on the Frew website after the convention.
This comic will be full colour and will feature new stories: "Phantom in Vietnam Part 13" by Paul Mason and the second part of the short story of the Phantom flying a McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II jet fighter written by Duncan Munro and drawn by Ken Steacy. The first part of this story was featured in Frew #2008 (2025).
It will also include classic stories recoloured by Ivan Pederson in "The Epidemic" which was the 83rd Phantom daily story and written by Lee Falk and drawn by Sy Barry. The other known story is "Rex King" which was the 68th Phantom Sunday story and written by Lee Falk and drawn by Sy Barry. At the time of writing, it is unknown if other classic recoloured stories will be included.
For those attending Sydney Supanova, Ben Bradi, Ken Steacy and Duncan Munro will all be in attendance, which is perfect for a remarque and a signature.
