In episode 11 of Phantom 2040: A New Shadow, we leap back to the Carlos Oserio storyline. Carlos, now in his stolen Phantom 2040 threads, gets closer to accepting and embracing his role in the Phantom legacy. Fitzroy, a cool and sassy mutual friend of his and Mel's, helps Carlos work toward embracing this new path forward. As readers, we're treated to an episode that really centers around the notion of repairing and patching up relationships.
Writers Alex Segura and Michael Moreci and artist George Kambadais craft an episode that's mostly focused on relationships, but longtime Phantom 2040 fans are treated to a surprise character as well! Considering the surprise cameo last episode, it was only a matter of time before this character reappeared as well.
As we dive further into the second half of this 20-episode storyline, we see a clear line forming between The Phantom and his allies and Tyrus and his shadowy partners.

Question for the Phans: Do you like the redesign of the classic Phantom 2040 character who reappears in this issue?
