Vote for your favourite NEW Old Jungle Saying

For their 75th anniversary Fantomen has released a competition for a new old jungle saying to be created. Entries closed on 17 October 2025, and in issue 25-26/2025, the top 10 as voted by the editorial team have been released. The editorial team had 174 different entries to choose from. Voting ends Monday 15th December 2025.

The ten to choose from are:

1. The phantom forgets neither enemies nor friends

2. Neither cage nor grave can hold the Phantom

3. Where the Phantom's shadow falls, justice shines

4. Where the long arm of the law does not reach. That's where the Phantom reaches.

5. The Phantom never abandons a friend in need.

6. He who steals from the weak fills his pocket with the Phantom's wrath.

7. Anyone who has encountered the phantom never forgets it.

8. He who is hunted by the Phantom can never rest.

9. The phantom can be as gentle as a house cat and as fierce as a wounded lion.

10. He who is under the protection of the Phantom has a friend who never fails.

Everyone who votes for their favourite will go into the draw for one of 20x 2025 Fantomen Christmas Albums. The author of the new old jungle saying will receive 10x tote bags with the new old jungle saying printed on them PLUS a free 6-month subscription of the magazine posted to them.
