Since 1978, Fantomen has had a fan poll where you get to vote for which story you think is the best they have published for the past year. 46 years later, that tradition is still happening with voting now open for the best story for Fantomen 2024.
How to vote?
Click here to go to Fantomen.org. If you use Google Chrome you can right click and choose 'Translate To English' (or your own language) and follow the prompts.
Last year, they had the option of voting for your top three stories and your least favourite story. The poll for the best adventure for 2025 doesn't have this option. We can only assume they did not get the results they wanted and have reverted back to tradition.
The last date to vote is around 1st of April and the result will be published in Fantomen 10-11/2026.
As an extra thank you and incentive to vote, Team Fantomen is raffling away 10x copies of the new Fantomens historiska äventyr 1 hardcover issue. From past experiences, they do post prizes to overseas phans including Australia.

2025 gave us 40x stories to choose from in the competition, which is up from 36 in 2024, including:
8x new previously unpublished Team Fantomen stories.
2x new previously unpublished newspaper stories
8x new previously unpublished Frew and Bastei which includes 2x two-part stories in "Inked in Blood" and "The Bat of Berlin".
16x previously published Team Fantomen stories
6x previously published newspaper stories
As with all fan-driven surveys, this is important as it gives Team Fantomen and Egmont's editorial staff information about what type of stories us fans want to read in future issues. With the majority of the Team Fantomen stories included in a Frew comic, It also helps give the Frew editors an idea of what stories to publish.
As soon as we hear word about Fantomen's annual Best Cover survey being open and the results, we will let you know! If you are a phan, reader or collector of Fantomen comics and are interested in helping us keep up to date on all things Phantom in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland etc, please email us at ChronicleChamber@gmail.com.
