Saturday Morning Cards announces SDCC 2026 range

On our 90th anniversary celebration podcast, the creative director of Saturday Morning Cards (SMC) announced in his birthday message that they will be releasing a new volume of cards in 2026. That volume two is still to be released with news to come, but in other exciting news, SMC will be attending San Diego Comic Con in 2026 again with a new celebrational range.

San Diego Comic Con is held between July 23-26 2026.
As you will notice, the design of the card is using the same Erick Marshall design as is in their first release. However, everything else is different.
The case has a different design.
The standard purple 'slam evil' punch card with the ring and the movement effects featuring a glow-in-the-dark element.
There will be new sketch cards in this SDCC 2026 set
There will be 75 star sets of this design. These will be numbered.
There will be 50 ice sets of this design. These will be numbered.
There will be 25 of each Phantom colour in gray, blue, and red. These will be numbered.
There will be numbered 10 purple glow-in-the-dark gold cards
There will be a 1/1 black glow-in-the-dark card.
As per last year, they will be selling these first at their San Diego Comic Con booth with the remaining stock listed for sale on their website after the event.
