The Phantom (& Sy Barry) at Budapest, Hungary Comic Con 2026

In exciting news, The Phantom, the Hungarian comic publisher Bubi Bolt and Sy Barry will be featured at the Budapest (Hungary) Comic Con on March 21-22, 2026.
The Hungarian comic publisher Bubi Bolt in August 2024 started to reprint the Sy Barry daily stories in hardcover format and at the Comic Con convention will release volume two, which will cover the stories from 1963 to 1965 created by the dynamite duo Lee Falk and Sy Barry. At the moment, the number of pages included in this volume has not been confirmed, but the list of stories has been. Volume two will contain the 87th to 93rd Phantom daily stories.
Daily story #87: "The Drummer of Timpenni". Started on 16 December 1963 and ended on 21 March 1964.
Daily story #88: "The Reef". Started on 23 March 1964 and ended on 27 June 1964.
Daily story #89: "The Adventures of Lucy Cary". Started on 29 June 1964 and ended on 12 December 1964.
Daily story #90: "The Bad Ones". Started on 14 December 1964 and ended on 17 April 1965.
Daily story #91: "The Hanta Witch". Started on 19 April 1965 and ended on 31 July 1965.
Daily story #92: "Prince Hali and the White Stallion". Started on 2 August 1965 and ended on 1 January 1966.
Daily story #93: "Bullets' Town". Started on 3 Jan 1966 and ended on 28 May 1966.

On top of this new volume being available, Budapest Comic Con and publisher Bubi Bolt have organized a prerecorded interview with legendary artist Sy Barry, which will be shown throughout the event on both days for fans to watch.
Bubi Bolt has confirmed that any copies of volume two that did not sell will be made available to purchase via their online store from April 2026. At the time of writing the article, they still had copies of Volume one available to purchase.
