A Catch-up with Shakti Comics (An Overview of Previously Uncovered issues)
Shakti Comics, the Indian comic book publisher, is also the only publisher currently publishing the adventures of The Phantom in three languages in India. So far, over the last two years Shakti has published an impressive catalogue in the languages English, Bengali and Hindi.
We here at Chronicle Chamber had reviewed Shakti’s phantom publications since their inception back in 2021. We had covered every single issue in its own dedicated review till issue #13 published in August 2024. The last issues covered, however, were #14 and #15, which were released on the X Band The Phantom Podcast Episode #305 back in 2025.
Shakti’s latest release is #30, which was released in September of this year. This issue followed #29 released earlier in August, which highlights Shakti’s timely schedule that they have been successful in following.
In order to catch our readers and viewers up to the review of #29, we have made an overview that explains the evolution of Shakti up to their latest offering. We do highlight the changes, including Shakti’s missing numberings on #13 - #15 and other partnership and design changes that occurred in between.
