What an absolutely sensational year it has been for FREW in 2023!
Throughout the year, we phans have basked in the glory of a multitude of fresh Phantom tales and artwork gracing the pages of our publications throughout the past year. In their astonishing 75th year of continuous publication, FREW have continued to provide both new and loyal readers with a vaariety of classic tales and fresh new material.
30 issues, 31 covers, 72 Phantom stories - in 2023 FREW have delivered in numbers that comic publishers around the world can only dream of. No fewer that 21 of those stories are entirely new and specially commissioned by Frew, surpassing the 19 from last year. And for devoted newspaper strip fans, fear not, as FREW has proudly presented no fewer than 24 Daily or Sunday stories this year!
Meanwhile the range of cover artists that FREW's creative director Glenn Ford has curated this year continues to impress, with the variety of styles providing something for everyone.
