This is our very first digital only comic review and to be honest, a bit surprised it has not happened before. Will this be a more common future occurrence? Would you like to see more digital comics available for phans from around the world who may not live in a country with a regular publication?
The Phantom stories in the first three Tasq Force comics are:
"The Chain Pt 1" written by Tony DePaul and drawn by Bret Blevins. This is the 265th Daily adventure.
"Return to the Temple of the Gods Pt 1" written by Tony DePaul and drawn by Jeff Weigel. This is the 193rd Sunday adventure.
"Return to the Temple of the Gods Pt 2" written by Tony DePaul and drawn by Jeff Weigel. This is the 193rd Sunday adventure.
We are surprised that the second Tasq Force issue does not continue with "The Chain" Daily adventure story and starts with a new Sunday story. Perhaps we will see the complete printing or the end in the printed Annual that is due out in December 2024.
My main criticism would be some of the cover art and some curious layout issues of the Sunday strips which go from two to a page to one and in one occasion in issue three, black and white.
Will be curious where this series goes in the future. I wonder if they may get more sales if they publish old classics that are not easily accessible with these later Daily and Sunday stories recently available in newspapers and online.
