Humorous story in Fantomen 14-15/2025

”Fantis” in Fantomen 14-15/2025 is a two page humorous short story on the Phantom by Anders Skoglind.

Skoglind is a Swedish comic creator from Tornedalen. Previously he has made comics for Åsa-Nisse, Humorklassiker, and 91:an. 91:an is one of Sweden’s most popular and well-known comics. So Skoglind probably is known by a lot of Fantomen readers, although he was personally unknown to me.

I found the story quite funny; I especially liked the Phantom's 6th sense guiding him to “CHEFEN“, and I wouldn’t have minded if the story was a little longer, as I felt it ended a little bit abruptly.

I hope we get to see more of this comic in future issues of Fantomen, when there’s a need to fill a few pages.

My only dislike is that I personally detest whenever the Phantom is called Fantis, which in my mind is a derogatory nickname for Fantomen, but I think I am probably one of the few that reacts to that as much as I do. The name Fantis has been used many times before in Fantomen in other humorous comics. So, with that being the norm, I probably should try to conform.
