Details for the Australian Phantom phan weekend 21-22 June 2025

Every year Phantom phans from around the world come to Sydney, Australia to enjoy a weekend full of purple and phellow Phantom phans.

2025 will be a great weekend with lots of Phantom related guests and things to do. Unfortunately, the team at Chronicle Chamber wont be attending this year but we know every phan that attends will have a great time and we have done our best to highlight every Phantom related event / guest in this article. We will try and provide a detailed review of the weekend in the form of a podcast - if you want to be our roving reporter for the weekend, please contact us.

If you are a new phan and want to attend, please contact us and we will put you in touch with phans who are attending.

Below we will highlight the guests and related catch-ups for the weekend. It is truly a religious mecca meeting place for Phantom phans from around Australia.

Billy Zane

Billy Zane will be attending Sydney and Perth Supanova events (find out more). As for normal special guests there will be a price to pay for autographs and or photographs. The prices are:

Autographs with Billy Zane is $80. Photograph with Billy Zane is $95.

For those who live in Sydney and Melbourne, you also have the opportunity to watch the movie and or have dinner with Billy Zane. You can find out more about these events here. There are limited spots so do not delay.

Frew Booth

Frew will be having a booth at Supanova and will be selling back issues, old products as well as new products and their 2000th number which will be a bumper issue celebrating a mammoth celebration. We have been in touch with Frew and a full list of new products available at their booth will be released next week. We will update this article with the link to the full list once it has been made available.

Phantom guests at Supanova

There will be a number of guests at Supanova Sydney with Phantom credits which include:

• Billy Zane. Phantom actor for the 1996 movie.

• Joe Jusko. Artist for the 1996 Inkworks Phantom Puzzle card set.

• Daniel Picciotto. Frew cover and interiors artist. He is the cover artist for issue 2000.

• Alex Trpcevski. Frew cover artist. His most recent Frew cover is issue 1998.

• Jamie Johnson. Frew, Hermes Press and Lightning Strike cover artist. His most recent Frew cover is issue 1983.

• Lauren Marshall. Frew cover artist. Her most recent Frew cover is issue 1995.

Most of the artists will be available for autographs on the comics they have worked on, plus will have prints and likely also be available for commissions and or have original art for sale. We suggest you contact them directly about commissions beforehand.

Phan catch-ups & LFMBEC dinner

This whole weekend is about catching up and spending time with like minded phans from around Australia and there is plenty of opportunities to do that. • Friday night 20 June. Friday drinks at Mecure Sydney (George st, Sydney) from 5pm

• Saturday lunch 21 June. Meeting will be at the Supanova convention. Location of meeting and time to be confirmed.

• Saturday Phantom LFMBEC dinner 21 June. This event is the annual charity dinner. This years guest speaker will be Lauren Marshall. Please note, these dinners are invite only with limited spots available, to get onto the mailing list and an invite, go to the www.LFMBEC.org website.
