'Big Rubber Guys' The Phantom Figure Now Available For Preorder

Last month, we reported that toy company Collect Major unveiled new King Features Syndicate, Inc.-licensed figures in their Big Rubber Guys toy line. These toys are 8-inch (20.3 cm) figures modeled after popular wrestling action figures from the 80s and 90s. The Phantom, Flash Gordon, and Popeye are among this starting lineup of KFS-licensed figures, with the first two now available for preorder.
On CollectMajor.com, each Big Rubber Guy retails for $49.99 USD ($75AUD, €45, ₹4,850 INR & 500 sek/nok). Free shipping is available in the United States, though shipping won't start for quite some time. Both The Phantom and Flash Gordon are noted as shipping in April 2027.
For those outside of the United States, Collect Major has emailed us at Chronicle Chamber to confirm that they will ship to Australia and internationally. For Australian phans, there's a second option to score one of these 80s retro-style figures. Big Rubber Guys are carried by Pop Cultcha. One can presume that this new The Phantom figure will be available at Pop Cultcha upon release.
Resealable Packaging?
One interesting detail about the packaging for these figures is that they're reportedly resealable, allowing phans and collectors to display The Phantom loose or mint in box. It's a neat feature, especially for those who stress about opening collectibles.
