With only 20 days until the LFMBEC Dinner (and the CC Gathering), Richard Fry and announced yet another item that will be up for auction at this year’s dinner – a very cool, and rare, poster.
Contacting phans on the LFMBEC e-mailing list, Richard announced that Phantom phan Phillip Luppino has donated a poster to the auction which is used to promote the new Phantom poker machines that have been appearing since late last year. Even though the Phantom’s association with gambling may leave a bad taste in some phans’ mouths it can’t be denied that it is a beautiful poster.
The artist, Australia’s own Glenn Ford – who should be no stranger to readers of Frew – will also be at the Dinner and is sure to be happy to sign it for the lucky winner.
